Several community events and important deadlines are coming up this week for residents of Warm Springs. Here's a quick rundown of what's happening.

Pinktober Fun Run/Walk — Monday, October 19

The Warm Springs Community Wellness Center is hosting a Pinktober Fun Run/Walk on Monday, October 19, in support of those who have battled breast cancer. Sign-ups begin at noon on the front lawn of the Community Center. All community members are welcome — no registration fee required, and participants can walk or run at their own pace.

The event is part of national Breast Cancer Awareness Month observances and a chance for the Warm Springs community to come together in a spirit of health, solidarity, and support for survivors and those still fighting.

Tribal Employee Open Enrollment Closes October 29

Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs employees have until October 29 to complete their 2027 benefit open enrollment. This annual window is the single opportunity to update medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, as well as flex spending accounts and 401(k) plan contributions.

Missing the deadline means waiting until next year's open enrollment to make changes. Contact Human Resources at (541) 553-3262 with any questions.

Wellness Center Gym Temporarily Closed

The Warm Springs Community Wellness Center gym is currently closed for a four-to-five week refurbishment project. The closure is expected to result in improved facilities for community members who rely on the gym for fitness and recreation. Contact the Wellness Center for updates on the timeline.
