Veterans Day 2026 will be a full day of celebration and ceremony in Warm Springs, with the tribal community hosting a parade, a community lunch, and a powwow on Wednesday, November 11. The events offer Jefferson County residents from across the region a meaningful way to honor military service in a community setting.

Veterans Day Parade in Warm Springs

The Warm Springs Veterans Day parade lineup begins at 9 a.m., with the procession moving through the community as an expression of pride and gratitude for tribal members and local residents who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs have a long and honored tradition of military service. Tribal members have served in every branch of the U.S. military across generations, and honoring those veterans through community celebration reflects that deep tradition.

Community Lunch and Powwow

Following the parade, a community lunch will be held at the Old School Cafeteria beginning at 11:30 a.m. The meal is an opportunity for the Warm Springs community to gather together in appreciation for veterans and their families.

After the lunch, a powwow will take place. Powwows carry deep cultural significance in Warm Springs, and honoring veterans through traditional dance, music, and ceremony reflects the intersection of tribal culture and military service that defines much of the community's identity.

Warm Springs K-8 Academy Veterans Breakfast

The observances extend into the week that follows. On Thursday, November 13, the Warm Springs K-8 Academy will host a veterans breakfast at 7:30 a.m., followed by Veterans Day assemblies throughout the school day.

The school events connect students directly with the veterans in their community, creating meaningful interactions that bring the significance of military service to life for young people.
