A Big Deal for Madras

Events of this scale at the Jefferson County Event Complex are a significant economic boost for local businesses, from hotels and restaurants to gas stations and shops. The complex, which hosts the annual Jefferson County Fair & Rodeo, is one of the county’s most important venues for drawing visitors from Bend, Redmond, and beyond.

Saturday’s show coincides with the Summer Solstice — the longest day of the year — making for a fitting High Desert celebration.
