The Museum at Warm Springs has launched its annual membership drive, running through Monday, August 31, 2026 — and this year the campaign has broader statewide backing than ever, with more than two dozen Oregon cultural and conservation organizations helping to amplify the call.
The museum, located on the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Reservation at 2189 US-26, is one of the premier Indigenous cultural institutions in the Pacific Northwest. It houses an extensive collection of artwork, artifacts, and historical materials from the Warm Springs, Wasco, and Paiute peoples — the three tribes of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs.
A Wide Circle of Partners
Organizations lending their voice to the 2026 drive include Central Oregon LandWatch, the City of Bend, Confluence, Deschutes Land Trust, Discover Your Northwest, Dry Canyon Arts Association, the High Desert Museum, and Jefferson County community partners, among others. The broad coalition reflects the museum's significance not just to Warm Springs tribal members, but to the entire region.
Membership at the Museum at Warm Springs supports educational programming, preservation of cultural collections, and community events throughout the year. Members receive free general admission, discounts in the museum gift shop, and invitations to members-only events.
Reciprocal Membership Benefits
This year, the Museum at Warm Springs is also participating in a reciprocal membership program with 28 partner attractions across Oregon. Qualifying museum members gain free or discounted admission at a rotating roster of cultural destinations — making a Warm Springs membership an especially strong value for families who enjoy Oregon's museums, parks, and natural areas.
How to Join
Memberships can be purchased online at museum.warmsprings-nsn.gov or in person at the museum. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday. Individual memberships start at $35; family memberships are available at higher tiers.
For those who haven't visited recently, now is an excellent time to make the trip up US-26. The museum's permanent galleries include the Great Hall, showcasing the distinct artistic traditions of each of the three tribes, as well as rotating exhibits on contemporary tribal life and regional history.
The membership drive runs through August 31. Those who join before the deadline will have their membership active through August 2027.
