The Jefferson County Board of Commissioners will hold its next regular meeting on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, beginning at 8:15 a.m. at the county offices at 66 SE D Street in Madras. The public is welcome to attend, and citizen input is scheduled for 9:00 a.m.
How Meetings Work
Jefferson County Commissioner meetings follow a consistent format. The June 10 session — the second of the month — opens with a Department Directors session at 8:15 a.m., followed by Citizen Input at 9 a.m. Members of the public who wish to speak may do so during the citizen comment period on any topic within the board’s jurisdiction.
The board meets regularly on Wednesdays throughout the month. The next additional June meetings are scheduled for June 24. Meeting agendas and supporting documents are posted at jeffco.net/meetings ahead of each session.
Also This Week: Ballot Certification
The Jefferson County Clerk’s office is also scheduled to hold a public certification of the ballot tally machine on Thursday, June 11 at 9:00 a.m., followed by a hand count of write-in ballots from the May 19 primary election. The certification is open to public observers and takes place at the Jefferson County Annex conference room.
Oregon law requires the state to certify primary election results by June 25, 2026. County-level certification processes like Thursday’s are part of the chain of ballot accountability required under state election law.
